Themed parties are very common this season especially with offices doing their end of the year parties or people just hosting them generally. I’m not really a fan of themed parties because I don’t like anyone dictating my outfits Lol. So, when it comes to themed parties, I basically focus on accessories. I’ll find a pretty outfit that I like then accessorize with the pieces that go with the theme. That’s my easy hack for themed parties. If you have any coming up soon, here is a pretty dress you should get, it is easy to accessorize and can be styled for any event.
CUTE DRESS FOR THEMED PARTIES
I got this dress from a Nigerian designer Vogue Vestidos some months back. It is called the Charlotte Dress. They are a ready-to-wear brand that make really chic and affordable pieces. Loved the color first then the off-shoulder style and finally, it is a mullet (high-low) design so an instant hit! The fabric is also a type of chiffon, so it drapes quite well. Like some of my fellow bloggers say, the problem with some Nigerian fashion brands is bad finishing. I am glad to say that this dress is not one of those. The finishing is quite neat and I’ve also worn it up to 4 times since I got it, it does not fade.
I decided to take the styling away from the cliche ‘cute’ way that comes with pretty dresses. This look is fitting for some themed parties depending on what it is. I styled with my one and only mesh boots, a captain’s hat, double buckle belt and a mini bag. All black because I didn’t want to take away the attention from the dress. I also tied the belt of the dress on my neck to give add to the Parisian Vibes. Have I said how much I love the dress? Yes? Okay, I’m saying it again. I also love how I always get so much compliments on how pretty it is when I wear it.
Remember how I said I’ll wear more colors this year, you’ll see the evidence from all my posts. At least that promise was fulfilled even though I slowed down with the posting for a bit. Life guys, Life.
