The black t-shirt is as necessary as a white one, especially if you love easy styles. Also, because I like versatile pieces, t-shirts are wardrobe staples. I styled my black t-shirt in two easy ways that can work for everyone.
I got this inscription black t-shirt as a gift from Blogger Babe Cassie Daves. It is part of her mantra tees collection. I absolutely love Cassie and she’s an amazing creative, the t-shirt collection reflected her style and creativity. I really like the inscription on this black t-shirt, it is like an everyday reminder that I need to do better. A constant message that I need to go above basic and churn out epic stuff every time.
Styling the black t-shirt is very easy, it basically goes with everything but the important thing is looking stylish and put together. It seems as if people don’t make efforts to style a white t-shirt the way they would a black one. The black t-shirt is the ‘everything goes’ item and it still requires a little effort to get it street-style approved.
I styled my black t-shirt in two simple ways. One look with my white denim pants and black mesh boots. The classic monochrome look that always bangs. White pants always look classy and the mesh boots adds an edge to the look. Ever since I added weight (guys I weigh 60kg now ooo!) these white pants look more appealing on me and I think I need to get more before this pair gets ruined.
The second look is a casual one, I picked a print wrap skirt and sequined slides. Let me just tell you people that I tried to look for how I’ll tie it so it doesn’t look like a proper wrapper. I finally just rolled the top a bit so one side is longer than the other and I can show some legs LOL.
I shared details of my braids in my last post.
Which look is your fave?
Have an amazing weekend.
