Prints X Streets

Hi everyone. How’s your January going? In my case, malaria decided to show up but my God is bigger than it and it definitely won’t stop me from posting Lol.

So in my latest shoot, I decided to tour some streets in Yaba area of Lagos, Nigeria. Normally, it would not have been easy to take pictures but I did the shoot on a Sunday because that was the only day I could get CK (the photographer) to help me. Needless to say it was fun and crazy because I had to change on the pavement where I shot this particular outfit (no I wasn’t naked and my underwear did not show because I had to improvise LOL) and it was easy thanks to Cynthia, my friend who came to help me out.
Prints can never be overrated to me.

Print shirts are essential in your wardrobe and you would really appreciate them on days you’re at a loss for what to wear. Cassie also talked about print shirts in her latest post, you can check it out.
I won this lovely shirt from the #cassiedaveschristmasgiveaway and although it’s a really big size, I love it already, I mean who wouldn’t? Even my mum is trying to steal it LOL! I paired it with white pants so as to make the bold colours on the shirt pop.

White pants are classic and would dress up your outfit easily, remember I wore it with black here and I’m very sure it’s still going to make other appearances here.
I rocked my tan sandals which I got from Konga during the Black Friday sales and paired it with a tan handbag.

I like this outfit because it gives a vintage yet urban look, I hope you like it too.

I promised better pictures this year and I hope I have been able to convince you with these few photos of mine that I meant it LOL!

Where would you rock this to? I’d like to know your thoughts, kindly share.
