Serving Instagram looks is one of the things I love seeing while scrolling through my timeline or the explore page. I discover so many bomb photos and stylish babes that I am always taking screen shots of. These Instagram looks have inspired both my style and room decor and I thought to share with you.
With the Covid-19 pandemic, creatives are thinking outside the box. So many of us have set up home studios because we still have to produce content while staying safe. For this month, the Instagram looks I am sharing are the self-portraits that motivated me to get creative.
Instagram Looks Served Hot
I am of the opinion that oversize white shirts can be worn on anything. Although, one of the most common street style ways is to wear it on denim pants. @Dee_opaleye styles hers perfectly with ripped denim shorts and kept it casual with fur slides. I like how fun this is and also lessens the “up-tightness” attached to white shirts. Also, the décor of the room is so chic! Shamelessly plugging my business to this because I have stocked up on the cutest denim shorts on Thrift Store NG!
I have been following @romeosfashionfix for a couple of years and never have I ever not been stunned by her Instagram looks. She nails it every time. There is something so artsy about the monochrome outfit, background décor that just makes it seem natural to bring street style indoors. This is a look I would love to try but that pose is solely for her to pull off.
Scarves are still trending and with different styling tips coming out, this particular look from @diutoajoku makes me want to try it as a top. From her skin to the pose plus how gorgeous is the set-up of that room? Talk about having a cute and minimal space. I have also been favoring ripped jeans lately so I totally dig this as one of my favorite Instagram looks.
More Looks? Yesss!
I totally love how androgynous this look is on @natash_.tee. She pulled it off so well and I am tempted to get a bucket hat just to recreate the entire look. I also love how clean the background is, in some of her other pictures, there are plants but I think the presence of one in this would have “softened” the look and taken away from its full effect. Also, check out that cute baguette!
As a big fan of denim skirts, this look by @teefscorner is so pleasing to me. It is such a simple look but elevated with the heels, cute bag and ambiance of the picture itself. I mentioned getting a big mirror last week and this is one of the Instagram looks that inspired that need. Again, shamelessly plugging that I retail really cute tops and denim skirts and on Thrift Store Ng. Go and steal this look!
Another mirror selfie, another ripped jeans look. It is so obvious that I have a mood board y’all! To round up this post, @thedaileigh’s post is probably my most relatable of all the Instagram looks. I recently ordered sleeveless turtle neck tops and cannot wait to style them. Just look at the details on the jeans paired with a crop turtle neck, a classic. This look is so calming and as an upcoming plant mom, the one at the back does it for me.
Who are your favorite Instagram style stars? Should I make this a regular thing? Let me know!
