Merry Christmas people! Still on holiday party outfit inspiration, I just had to feature one of my favorite dresses in 2018.
As most of my dresses are, this was a last minute outfit. I had a wedding with ‘the boo’ and he conveniently forgot to tell me the dress code/colors till the week of the wedding. After looking through my wardrobe & some vendors on Instagram, I didn’t find anything extra enough so I hit up one of my favorite designers OLASHUBOMI. We came up with this style and she delivered two days later. The last time this happened, she came through in a day. Thank you girl!
I know some of you want the gist of the scar on my leg but I’m even ashamed to say it because of the ‘told ya’ a lot of my friends have been saying. Short story, one bike decided to bless me with its silencer. The scar is clearing up now but i’d love suggestions on what to use so it doesn’t scar permanently.
This dress is the right amount of extra I love. The color, details, slit and fit are everything I love about it. I’m so happy we were able to come up with this in a short time. I kept it simple with gold sandals (my favorite shoes right now) and a mini bag. This outfit is very fitting for lunch/dinner events, weddings etc.Accessories can be switched up to suit the occasion. Have I talked about my hair? I fell in love with crotchet again after I got this installed. It’s N2500 per pack and I used 5 packs. Thanks to Remmy Hair Quarters for sending it to me.
It’s Christmas Day and I’m convinced it stops being as interesting when one becomes an adult. I mean, I don’t even have ‘Christmas cloth’ this year LOL. I’m spending the day with my family as usual, what about you?
What is your favorite holiday party outfit?
How’s your holiday going? I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas celebration.
