Slaying your Holiday outfit is totally key this December especially as Nigerian artistes & brands have decided to kill us with enjoyment this year. Although some of us are not closing officially for the year, we still have to get our holiday outfit on fleek. If you don’t mind showing a little skin then this outfit is perfect for you.

Outfit

I have created two looks with my striped skort. They are both very fitting for any turn up you have before the end of the year. Lagos is ridiculously hot this year & I want to believe other parts of the country are not as cold as we expect either. That’s why my go-to outfits for all ‘detty december’ outings have been mostly shorts & mini skirts.

This skort (two in one mix of skirt and shorts) is one cute number I’ve worn more than once this month. Apart from it being cute, I also don’t have to bother about it flying up because of the shorts underneath.

Look 1

I paired it with a lace blouse with exaggerated sleeves and black boots. Got the blouse during the Jumia Fashion Week sale & this is the first time I’m wearing it. I got the boots from Desire 1709 & wore it for the first time during Lagos Fashion Week. The boots fit perfectly but they hurt a bit in front when I wear for a long time. Asides that, it is quite comfortable. It adds the edgy vibe I love to this look.

Look 2

This look is fitting for a more casual hang-out/outing. It’s simple, easy and comfortable. I don’t think casual gets any easier than a cami plus shorts combo, make it a skort & take it up a notch.

How’s your December going so far? Any parties? Which of these looks would you rock?
