Black X White Series- A lot of Black

Hey people!I’ve been meaning to do the last Black X White post for a while now but I haven’t been able to put my thoughts together to write something. Issues, issues, issues. Lol.

I try to make my outfits a bit corporate when going to work simply by putting a blazer over it (works everytime) so I won’t have issues with my boss. So I paired my black blazer with the outfit. This mesh doll top came in handy at last. I’ve had it for close to two years now and I never made up my mind on how to wear it; it’s too short to be worn as a dress and I don’t like the look it gives with leggings underneath. With my white jeans though, it looked good.

White pants are very essential in your wardrobe and it’s also a very classy piece. I think I mentioned it once that I find white to be more classy than black when it comes to outfits. In fact, one of my favorite bloggers paired her white pants with a colorful shirt and gorgeous shoes here that I had to bring out mine and put it to use. I turned it up once even though it’s already Capri (I just can’t help turning them up).

I accesorized with a slim black belt to accentuate the waist of the top, a small brooch because I seem to have added a little weight ? and long earring because of my Bantu Knots.

Black sandals and a light pink purse to complete the look.

The ‘little white in a lot of black’ effect is what I really love about this outfit.

Blazer- Nautica

Top- Coco N Rigo

Pants- Western Jean

Sandals- Atmosphere

If you missed the other Black X White posts, please check them here, here and here. What do you think about the basic Black and white combination and how differently would you wear yours? I always love to hear from you all.

In other news, I would be having my first Male Style Story this month and I’m so excited to finally satisfy my male readers who have been complaining that I only blog ‘girl’ stuff LOL! So keep coming back and I promise you more and more. Oh and the girls should be ready to drool too ?

Have a good week people.
