Wearing an All black outfit is chic and exudes a special attitude. Although my mum would always ask if I am mourning someone, I feel you can never go wrong in all black outfits. Well, unless you are hell bent on ruining it with unstructured & mismatched pieces LOL.
To spice your all black outfit up, you can;
- Pick a piece with embellishments or little print details
- Use chunky/statement jewelry
- Use white accessories- bags, shoes etc.
- Rock with colored hair for a cute contrast
- Show the attitude that goes with black!
For this outfit, I took my own advice and did all of the above. This is the third time I’m actually styling my SGTC pants in an all-black ensemble. The pictures didn’t come out well the first time basically because the outline of my underwear was showing. Sigh! The second time, I wore with a black bodysuit shirt to an event. Third time’s the charm and I finally found a solution to the underwear thing and rocked the same look again. This time though, I went with white accessories because I was trying to keep it minimal. I have worn SGTC pieces previously on the blog here, here & here then on Kamdora here.
All black outfits can easily look shabby if the pieces aren’t paired right. This SGTC pants is one versatile piece that you can rock with any type of blouse. From off-shoulders to mono-straps to print clash, you can get away with any style of blouse with the pants. I guess SGTC has made me love long pants now especially this one. The Ankara detailing in front is the spice while the cut of the pants are the supporting fab characters.
Wearing all black can be quite tricky which is why I picked a spaghetti strap top to go with the pants. This way, I am less sweaty and can rock my outfit without worrying about the heat too much.
I’m having a giveaway on my Instagram page and it will close this weekend so go participate!
