About The Weekend

Happy new week guys, I hope you are all as happy with the four-day week as I am.
My weekend was as busy as I knew it would be but it doesn’t mean I was ready for it to be over so soon. I actually started feeling the weekend vibes from Thursday because I attended the company dinner that night and was certainly in no mood for work the next day.

After much stress on what to wear for the dinner; I wasn’t familiar with the dress code as this was my first time of attending (and my colleagues kept confusing me), I finally settled for a bandage off-shoulder top in yellow and a two-toned midi skirt. I was so happy my friend got me this yellow top because I do not actually have anything in that color and Grace of made me fall for yellow in one of her posts.

I tried not to overdo it but still ‘do it’ with the outfit LOL.

Friday flew by fast and then Saturday when I was to meet up with the adorable Oluchi of Oluchi just moved back to Nigeria and I’ve been a regular on her blog so we decided to hook up. She, Grace and I met at Ikeja city mall and I had a fabulous time learning about the blogging life from Oluchi’s perspective. She is really as cool as I envisioned and I’m starting to think that bloggers in general are awesome, at least the ones I’ve interacted with personally (hey Cassie & Grace).

Sunday was for church and preparing for the week ahead & I totally forgot about the long weekend ahead so now I’m not so depressed about work this week LOL.

How was your weekend guys? What did you get up to?

Have a lovely week ahead.
