2 Simple Ways To Spice Up Your White Dress

2 Simple Ways To Spice Up Your White Dress

Is there any greeting like Happy leap year? Because we Nigerians always find a greeting for everything LOL but to the special birthday celebrants today, I wish you a very happy birthday.

For those of us that are constantly in search of ways to spice up our plain black/white dresses, here are two easy ways to add a little more fun to your  white dress.

I got this dress two years ago and I have worn it just twice, reason being that the only thing I could spice it up with were m shoes and accessories and I’m not really an accessory person so that leaves only the shoes but it never seems to be enough for me. So I decided to do some mix and match on my own and came up with a cape and a black shirt. The cape for a dress up outing and the plain black shirt for a more casual look both with the same black pumps.

I figured that I did not need much accessories because my red hair was all over the place (and the wind kept blowing it into my eyes) but if you can make it work with your own accessories then go for it. My favorite of the two is actually the one with the black shirt because i feel I can still do more spicing up with the monochrome look better than the cape look because it is already busy.

The hi-low cape is from a two-piece the designer on my street made for me ( she also made this dress, this skirt the two-pieces I posted here, here, here and here) but it did not look all that good with the flair pants so I decided to try them both separately. If you want a link up with this designer, just shoot me a mail via [email protected], she is highly affordable too.

  1. These pictures are so nice b. I love the one with the cape more but I’ll rather rock the white with a black jacket.. Good to know you’re a March born too and I’m anticipating the giveaway.
