One of the easiest piece of clothing ever has to be a shift dress, then if you have one with a pretty design or print, you are good to go. I’d be sharing two ways I styled this pretty shift dress and this is the first look.
Color blocking may never go out of style, I mean a lot of people have even forgotten there was a time when mixing colors used to be weird but now it’s pretty much a regular thing. Personally I love to mix and match and if there is an avenue for me to pair popping colors together, be sure I’m not missing it LOL.
I got this dress a while back ad it was part of the items that pushed me to start my Thrift Store (@thethriftstoreng on Instagram) as I was so convinced I had a knack for thrifting really nice items. Because of the length, I haven’t been able to put it to much use but then if you don’t own a car and you can afford cabs or you can get a ride with a friend then short dresses are very easy to wear.
Ankara head-wraps have been making waves on social media and as I have not perfected the turban art yet, I decided to tie mine in my favorite scarf style, a bow. Red shoes and my current fav green bag (I hope I don’t ruin it with overuse) mixed with the yellow lace detail on the dress got me the color block theme.
What do you think of Ankara head-wraps, are you a fan? Are you still into the color block trend? Please drop your comments.
